Discover the Collection and the house-museum

The Cerruti Collection has been built up over the years thanks to the passion and foresight of Francesco Federico Cerruti, a pioneering entrepreneur and refined collector. It consists of works ranging from the Middle Ages to the 2000s and an extraordinary collection of rare books. Since Cerruti’s death it has been owned by the Fondazione Francesco Federico Cerruti per l’Arte, which currently manages it and ensures its opening to the public thanks to the collaboration with the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea.

History

An intelligent and acute look at a place to be built as a treasure chest, a place where one can take refuge, even without ever having actually lived there. A life in search of perfection. Not perfection for its own sake, but one that soothes the restless soul and lifts the spirit. Works of art could not disappoint him, should not disappoint him. That is why he chose them so carefully. And with them he prepared a later time, a time after the time of his own life, our time.
