Live Collection
Claudio Zambianchi talks about Monet
25.07.2024, 06:00 PM - 07:30 PM
The third appointment of the Live Collection is dedicated to Claude Monet (Paris, 1840 – Giverny, 1926) and will be led by Claudio Zambianchi, professor of History of Contemporary Art at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. The opportunity to delve deeper into the figure of the great protagonist of the French Impressionist season arises from the presence in the Rectangular room of the Cerruti Collection of the painting La Falaise et la Porte d’Aval, 1885, from the Museum Barberini in Potsdam, hosted until 18 August 2024 in the context of the Traveling Artworks project.
The conference will be accompanied by a piano performance by Giuliano Bertolotto Bianc. The musical program is curated by Mario Calisi.
