Description

The tools on this binding, made in Paris by the “Salel Binder” around 1540, are found on several examples from the atelier that used to be called the “Fontainebleau Binder”, but which has been renamed the “Salel Binder”. This atelier was at work in Paris between c. 1540 and 1545.1
