Description

The tools used on this binding, made in Paris around 1545, are identical with those found on a Boccaccio, Brescia 1536 (British Library) and on a copy of Aemilius, Paris 1539 (Edinburgh University Library); they are similar to, but not identical with those used by the “Pecking Crow Binder”.
